The access to public transportation is impressive, making it easy to dart around the city. The building's historical architecture adds an unexpected character to the exterior, providing a bit of charm amidst the urban setting.
The rooms seemed to bear the weight of neglect, with filthy carpets and an overwhelming musty odor. Musty curtains didn’t do much to block the noise from the streets, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest. Showers were non-functional, and the communal bathrooms looked like they hadn't seen a decent cleaning in ages. there was a lack of essential amenities—no hot water and a refrigerator with old milk added an unpleasant vibe. it felt like a place in struggling need of some serious maintenance.

I loved the cozy atmosphere here, especially the well-cooked breakfast that was served right on time. The beautiful garden was such a pleasant surprise. I’d definitely come back for more good vibes!

The bed was comfortable, but the shower pressure was extremely poor.

If you're a foodie, you'll love Aunty Ji's Vegetarian Food just a stroll away for some bangin' dishes! Plus, the close proximity to the tube is a real game changer for exploring local spots. The staff were friendly, too—absolute legends!
But, blimey, the place was filthy! Walking into a room with dirty carpets and a shower that was clearly never cleaned is a major letdown. For £146 over 2 nights, I expected at least a whiff of cleanliness.

Nice service but needs serious cleaning!
We stayed here for 1 night. The manager was super friendly, which was a relief! But wow, the room needed some serious TLC. There was dust everywhere, and the bathroom was totally mouldy. On the upside, breakfast was decent! Just a shame about the state of the place.

Perfect for a budget stay!
I was in a downstairs room for two nights, and while it was pretty spacious, the bed felt way too old for my liking. The toilet and shower were upstairs, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was just okay, though.

Not the best but bearable for a quick stay
Our family stay was short but memorable due to the character of the place. Interacting with the staff was pleasant, even if the dining options were limited. For families visiting, I suggest bringing your own snacks as the breakfast didn't impress. The nearby subway is a plus for exploring London!

The hotel offers great value for the price, with helpful staff and a clean room close to the train station. the lack of room service and a rather basic breakfast left some room for improvement. Still, it's perfect for a short budget stay in London.
